Albany County, New York requires a functioning health care facility, but one that also fulfills its residents’ desires. New York met that need in April 2017 with the approval to renovate and expand the Albany County Nursing Home. The 60 million dollar project includes renovating its existing facilities and building new single floor additions. The nursing home’s improvements will increase the number of private  rooms for residents, higher bed-occupancy rates, and increased revenue reimbursements.

The state awarded the project to Jersen Construction. Working together with our Representative Thermal Environmental Sales, Inc., Nexus supplied high-quality products to offer a more efficient H.V.A.C. system for the Albany County Nursing Home. The products provided are an essential aspect of lowering costs after the update and providing proper comfort to its residents.

Installed in the new additions and renovated buildings of the Nursing Home are 534 A2Y Coil Paks. Nexus Coil Paks are one of the industry’s leading flow control valve accessories. They are pre-configured and leak tested assemblies that reduce field labor and eliminate potential leak points. Albany County Nursing Home now can operate its system more efficiently while also reducing its building’s carbon footprint and reliance on costly energy.
